Report from Chuuk Lagoon and Palau Trip 2017

Chuuk Lagoon – The worlds wreck capital

This year we did something very special. Two exotic destinations were combined into one trip.
Our team consisted again of a nice mix; Kostya and Svetlana from Tomsk (Russia), Sandor and Zsuzsi from Budapest (Hungary) and as many times before, Lary from Phoenix (US).

Firstly we traveled to Chuuk Lagoon (Truk), the worlds wreck diving capital. The dives there were very relaxed and easy as there is no current at all any time. The water is clear and we had just a bit of wind with small waves. The wrecks are great and most of them are within recreational divers limits. The smallest we dove on was 89 metres long 🙂
The wrecks are in great conditions, full with artifacts and with great swim thru and penetration possibilities.  Even the ones they are (were) not the big funs of the wrecks were changing their opinion and fell in love with them.

Secondly we flu over to Palau, the Rock Islands. I am sure many of you have heard about this fantastic place before. Everything you heard is true, it is just simply awesome. The amount of fish and the beautiful walls are magnets for many divers.
We have seen enormous amount of different sharks, eagle rays, turtles, barracudas, tunas and so on and so on…

It is not easy to describe everything in words, so the two photo albums below should help with it as the video at the bottom of the page. Certainly the best way to experience is to sign up when we are going next time 🙂
Enjoy the photos and keep in touch as there are more trips coming up soon.

Komodo and Bali duett in April and May 2017

Another great trip for 2017 to Komodo and Bali.

The Komodo National Park

The Komodo National Park

This is the second great trip for this year. It is recommended for those who couldn’t for some reason join us on the Truk and Palau trip, and also for those they want to extend their vacation at this fantastic spot.

We are meeting in Denpasar (Bali) and departing from there on 28th of April 2017. We are flying from there over to Komodo (Labuan Bajo). We will spend there 5 days and 4 nights on live aboard trip with 14 dives and rest one day. After that on 3rd May we will fly back to Bali and drive down to Tulamben. There we will spend 4 days with diving doing 10 dives and one day relaxing. On 9th May you might choose to fly back home (version A) or stay for next 4 days diving with 10 dives in Candidasa, one day rest and departure home on 15th May (version B).

I will be accommodated in Denpasar and waiting there for you in Citadines Kuta Beach Bali Aparthotel. I will be there from the evening of 26th April. It would be the best if you could come to this place for a night or two to shake off your jetlag and be reenergized before the trip. Our plane takes of at 07:30 in the morning next day (28th April), so it is strongly recommended to be there the night before.

The version A trip price is US$ 3.290 and is including your accommodation with double occupancy and breakfast, 24 dives with national park fees, taxes and local diving license and nitrox as well. The domestic flights are also included in the price with 20 kg checked in luggage allowance. The overweight is approximately US$ 4/kg each way. During the live aboard trip all the meals are included too.
The version B trip price is US$ 4.490 and is including the same items as version A plus 6 more nights and 10 more dives.

Also if you wish to be alone in the hotel room (not an option on live aboard), there will be a single occupancy room surcharge of US$ 200 for the version A alone and additional US$ 250 for the version B.

Great news: if you don’t want to travel to Komodo, you can still join the Bali only trip. In this case we will meet you at the Denpasar airport on 3rd May as we will land 17:30 and should be out from airport pretty fast flying domestic. If the time is wrong for you then we can meet you in Tulamben, we will agree on details when you book.
The price for this trip is US$ 2.350 and is including your accommodation with breakfast for 12 nights, 20 dives, transfers. If you wish to be alone then you will have to pay US$ 450 for single occupancy accommodation.

To book please contact me as soon as possible to check for availability and to secure your place.
